This week ride is to Parbold. The route covers 51 miles with about 1800ft of climbing. As the ride is on new years eve please check beforehand on the Wild Bikers Facebook members page to check if the ride is going ahead.

The inters ride is at a good pace covering approximately 50-60 miles. We typically ride at around 16mph average and we would like to ask riders to be respectful of this for your own safety and the safety of the group. Suitable for road bikes only.

You can view details of the route here: Parbold (11271251)

We meet at the Mulberry Tree, Stockton Heath, WA4 2AF and leave at 8:30AM prompt.
Bikes MUST be in good working order and you MUST have a helmet.  You need to carry a spare inner tube or puncture repair kit and when necessary you should also have lights.

General Rules:
– Please keep pavements clear at meeting points, be respectful of pedestrians.
– Riders must ride maximum two abreast – not four! – and on the left hand side of the road – safety first!
– We generally ride as a single group, unless we have 12 or more riders when we would split into 2 groups (assuming we have enough ride leaders to accommodate this)
– Riders must have someone they can phone in case of emergencies and mechanical failure – it is not the responsibility of the leaders to fix a bike – but they will help if they can.
