A few Wild Bikers are starting to gear up and get the miles in for what is fast becoming an annual trip to the roadies' cycling playground that is Majorca. The last two trips have seen a dozen keen guys spend 5 days cycling in the plains and mountains this Mediterranean Island has to offer, soaking up the sunshine as well as putting in the miles. The 1st day involves a "taster" ride from Port de Pollenca to the lighthouse at Formentor ( Puerto Pollenca - Cap Formentor) and back, a snip at 30 miles and 3500 feet of ascent. Other trips include riding from Andratx to Port de Pollenca; 70 miles and near enough 10,000 feet of ascent, Soller Steps and Puig Major; an 80 miler with 8,500 feet of ascent and of course the classic descent and climb of Sa Colobra; a mere 60+ miles and only 6,000 foot of climbing. You might think we're mad, but we love it, and here's a few photos to prove it!
