Into Frodsham and up Bellemonte onto Manley Road before a rapid descent of Commonside all the way into Helsby then back up to Alvanley via Primrose Lane then onto Mouldsworth and Stonehouse with the Café stop at 25miles.
Don’t linger long over coffee as you won’t want “cafe legs” as we make our way up to Newton via Sugar Lane, New Pale Road and Newton Hollow. From here it’s downhill all the way to Acton Bridge then home via Willow Green Lane, Frandley, Barber’s Lane and the Arley drag.
46miles and 2,437ft of ascent gives this route a little more climbing than normal.

General Rules:
– Please keep pavements clear at meeting points, be respectful of pedestrians.
– Riders must ride maximum two abreast – not four! – and on the left hand side of the road – safety first!
– We generally ride as a single group, unless we have 12 or more riders when we would split into 2 groups (assuming we have enough ride leaders to accommodate this)
– Riders must have someone they can phone in case of emergencies and mechanical failure – it is not the responsibility of the leaders to fix a bike – but they will help if they can.
