A short tour of Appleton before heading out to Frodsham, up Fluin Lane and along the top before descending to Kingsley. From Kingsley, it’s up Top Road and on to Hatchmere, through the forest and then, Yeld, Waste and Tirley Lanes in quick succession before descending Quarry Bank to the coffee stop at 23.5miles.

Home is via Cotebrook (preceded by a gratuitous loop taking in the short climb of Hollins Hill and Knights Lane) then Cuddington, Acton Bridge, Frandley and the Arley drag.

50miles and 2,700ft

We typically ride at around 14-16mph average and we would like to ask riders to be respectful of this for your own safety and the safety of the group.

You can view details of the route here: ACTIVE: Rose Farm….another option!

We meet at the Mulberry Tree, Stockton Heath, WA4 2AF at 08.20am and leave at 8:30AM prompt.

Bikes MUST be in good working order and you MUST have a helmet.  You need to carry a spare inner tube or puncture repair kit and when necessary you should also have lights.

General Rules:
– Please keep pavements clear at meeting points, be respectful of pedestrians.
– Riders must ride maximum two abreast – not four! – and on the left hand side of the road – safety first!
– We generally ride as a single group, unless we have 12 or more riders when we would split into 2 groups (assuming we have enough ride leaders to accommodate this)
– Riders must have someone they can phone in case of emergencies and mechanical failure – it is not the responsibility of the leaders to fix a bike – but they will help if they can.
