We have a great route this trip taking in Great Dunn Fell the Uk’s highest paved road and Hartside the location of many Tour of Britain hilltop shoot outs.
The Inters / Club ride is paced between 16-18mph. We typically ride at around 17mph average and we would like to ask riders to be respectful of this for your own safety and the safety of the group. Suitable for road bikes only.

General Rules:
- Please keep pavements clear at meeting points, be respectful of pedestrians.
- We generally ride as a single group, unless we have 12 or more riders when we would split into 2 groups (assuming we have enough ride leaders to accommodate this)
- Riders must ride maximum two abreast – not four! – and on the left hand side of the road – safety first!
- Riders must have someone they can phone in case of emergencies and mechanical failure – it is not the responsibility of the leaders to fix a bike – but they will help if they can.
New riders are always more than welcome and can enjoy 3 free taster rides with us before joining our club – please bring a guest registration form with you on your first ride.
