Routes

Since the club’s inception, Wild Bikes Cycling Club members have created a freely available compendium of routes generally starting from the centre of Stockton Heath and ending nearby.

Country lanes and cycle routes are favored over busy roads but as should be expected, sometimes an urban area, main road or challenging junction must be negotiated to get to quieter places.

Road routes are developed using the Ride with GPS route planning service which produces a shareable link or a QR code.

Members typically use a dedicated cycle computer to follow a route, but a handlebar-mounted phone using the Ride with GPS application can work just as well.

Having the route on your phone or computer is highly recommended should you become separated from the group.

Mountain Bikers ride free flow or follow marked trails provided by MTB parks or places like Delamere Forest as a guide.

All Wild Bikes routes are free to view and download. Checkout the Ride with GPS 'Explore' facility Searching for 'Wild Bikes Cycling Club', 'WBCC' or Stockton Heath’.

Wild Bikes Cycling Club accepts no liability for validity, accuracy, or safety of the routes.
